Gingival (Gum) Grafts

Gingival grafting is an aesthetic procedure to replace missing gum tissue that has been lost due to receding gums, periodontal disease or trauma.

Replace missing tissue and exposed root.

Graft tissue can come from the patient or a donor source. Grafts can be done alone or in conjunction with other periodontal procedures, such as implant placement.

Potential benefits of gingival grafts:

  • Improve aesthetics

  • Prevent future wear
